THE PSYCHOLOGY OF POLITICAL CORRUPTION: MEXICO AS A WARLORD NATION WITH AMERICA IN TOW
Written by James J. Crook
The salient lesson from the fall of the unconquerable, mighty Roman Empire is political corruption eventually becomes gangrenous and will rot and destroy a nation from “within”. An example of drug cartel infestation of a compromising government is the Mexican Federal Police trying to assassinate the Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico Police Chief on July 27, 2011.
The same political phenomenon is happening to the United States Government. America, due to greedy, sell-out U. S. Congresspersons, for big multinational corporate bribes has passed the American government, along with America’s democracy, to multinational corporations. A form of “corporatocracy”. An example is the Viet Nam, Afghan, and Iraq wars were all high corporate profit programs wherein multinational corporate defense contractors, regardless of President Eisenhower’s strong warnings, realized one trillion dollars per invented war only with Congress’s help. The “multies” proved even a United States President wasn’t going to stop them from that trillion dollar corporate profit from the Viet Nam War when they murdered President John F. Kennedy. With multinational corporate money power so enormous, it isn’t certain anyone can stop or control America’s Corporatocracy which, aside from illusion, has replaced the Nation’s democracy.
The current, inept, “boneheaded” U. S. Congress has announced that it may not be able to pay Social Security elderly recipients their monthly check. Such an inept management of the national welfare will toss 70 million elderly Americans onto the streets and in soup lines. Teacher ranks, so necessary to the development of the nation’s youth, are being reduced all over the Country because the Nation is running out of money. Yet, the U. S. Congress has spent six trillion dollars on America’s three recent wars with this enormous sum of money, which could have gone to domestic redevelopment i.e. new dams, schools, and enough teachers, going into the pockets of multinational corporations, incorporated in 100s of countries, not even patriotic to any country including America.
These “multies” have taken control of America’s government and are presently strip mining and selling off the Nation’s parts. Witness the tens of millions of jobs now outsourced to Asia, the new home of the world’s tallest skyscrapers, built with taxable American dollars by the trillions now circulating in India, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Have you called information lately on your telephone and understood the funny accented operator? The money river out of the United States to Asia via the “multies” is quite visible. Old U. S. skyscrapers are in the process of decay with no new buildings in a time while the world’s tallest and newest skyscrapers are now seen on Asian horizons. It is almost parallel to squeezing a water balloon emptying one end only to inflate the other end. The inflated end is directly portional to the emptying end. So goes the path of American money to Asia and America’s collapsing economy with the help of the U. S. Congress.
Is the United States really going under due to its corporatocracy?
Not being able to pay Social Security recipients, tens of millions of American jobs being outsourced, 14 trillion dollars in debt, its credit rating being downgraded by the world financial community, etc. How would the reader answer this question? America may already be a warlord nation like Mexico. A nation of corporate warlords. JFK tried to stop the Viet Nam War and look what multinational corporate money did to him. Republican Vice President Dick Cheney got a $28,000,000 bonus from his former employer, war-contract-awarded Halliburton, while Cheney was still vice president. Isn’t that a conflict of interest? Why the $28,000,000? For his good looks? No jobs. 14 trillion in debt. World credit being downgraded. No more social security. No national health care system allowing doctors to continue to rape the public with exorbitant charges and drain Medicare, placing their income range between $500,000 to $1,000,000 a year. Why? America had $14 trillion dollars to play with to address domestic needs, and then sum, but instead gave the $14 trillion to multinational corporate defense contractors. The same “multiess” outsourcing tens of millions of jobs to Asia. The “multies” control of Pentagon Brass is one reason for the National Government’s cooperation with the multinational corporations. Defense contractors offer retired Pentagon Brass a salary four times the salary the latter receives from the U. S. Government, literally the Pentagon’s “road to the promised land”. If a high Pentagon military personnel made $240,000 per year, his defense contractor job would then pay him almost a million dollars a year – provided that Pentagon personnel cooperates - wink wink - on NEW WAR programs conjured up by the “multies” to keep their armament factories humming.
None of the Nation’s elected U. S. Congresspersons are stopping the multinational corporations from strip mining of America. No Congressional attacks, strangely enough, are targeting these major corporations. An un-canning Congressional silence hangs in the air while the Iraqui and Afghan war debt keeps piling up draining America’s reserves - without resistance. One wonders why. There was no impeachment of President Lyndon B. Johnson or President Richard M. Nixon for orchestrating a fake Viet Nam War. The Gulf of Tonkin Incident, America’s reason for attacking North Viet Nam, was a myth and fabrication and never happened which is now admitted by top Army and Navy brass. There was no impeachment of President George W. Bush for initiating a fake Iraq War, proved to the letter in a book entitled The Case for Impeachment. So, an oblivious American public might be asking what is happening? The answer is corruption is happening.
What is the root of America’s present cycle of decay? Internal corruption among United States Congresspersons, un-resisted due to a leadership vacuum and a collapse of ethics in a sell-out U. S. Congress to corporatocracy. Further, instead of minimizing corporate control of Congress, the betraying and weirded out United States Supreme Court, with an aberrant perception in the case of Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, blew the cork off the bottle regarding limiting corporate campaign donations “ i.e. corporate money control of Congress to where corporations can now donate to political campaigns from their “general treasury” an unlimited amount, as a protection of the corporate fictional person’s First Amendment Freedom of Speech i.e. freedom of expression rights. Would corporate assassinations also be freedom of speech? Murder is also an “expression”, isn’t it? This aberrant Supreme Court decision all but assured the corporate replacement of America’s democracy by winning corporate candidates. What non-corporate candidate could match corporate spending with a general treasury in the billions of dollars? The opinion has one wondering about the U. S. Supreme Court. This is the same Supreme Court whose Warren Commission found Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone shooter in the JFK assassination even though on national television a four-inch chunk of President Kennedy’s skull, from a bullet went flying back in the direction of Lee Harvey Oswald. Irrefutable proof of a bullet from the “opposite” direction. And, LBJ had the Kennedy assassination limousine immediately sanitized outside the hospital Kennedy was taken to thereby destroying all crime scene evidence which is a felony. It is rumored but unsubstantiated that Lady Bird Johnson was awarded the merchant marine contract to transport all war armament to the Viet Nam War. This author has no knowledge of this. The result was the Kennedy ordered withdrawal from Viet Nam never happened and the war was plugged in massively with 500,000 American troops deployed, resulting in 110,000 deaths of American soldiers in a Kennedy assessed “unnecessary war” being no more than an internal Viet Nam civil war, and multinational corporate defense contractors walking off with $2 trillion dollars. Apparently genocide is an acceptable component to the multinational corporate profit equation.
A continuing LEADERSHIP VACUUM will take America under. Who can deny America is sliding downward almost unstoppably. If the Social Security checks are cut off for 70 million retired elderly Americans, this will indicate America will not only be going broke, there will be revolution on the horizon possibly leading to the split up of the United States, vanguarded by America’s richest states protecting their own. Americans marvel at Mexico, the land of the” mordida” i.e. tip or payoff as the grease that makes everything work for the Mexican elite. If the truth were known, it may be that the only difference between Mexico and the United States is the USA is the land of the BIG mordida.
Too many current presidential candidates are in it for themselves, more worried about being elected to a second term than what is right and best for the Nation. What is needed is a FDR or Teddy Roosevelt style leader who will protect the people against J. P. Morgan I’ll- buy-you types, and ride rough shot over America’s sell-out U. S. Congress, with a mission not so much to focus on getting legislation passed but to illuminate the individual sell-out Congresspersons in order to help the voting public to cleanse our National Government of corporate-type sell-out corruption and the end the “money talks” syndrome. In other words, a ferocious John-Dewey-one-termer-corporate-anti-corruption type Sir Oliver Cromwell would do quite well.
Unless America’s anti-corruption leadership vacuum is filled soon, multinational corporations will continue to deeply entrench themselves as America’s real government, until the entire Nation is sold off part by part. When Halliburton started receiving pressure from the U. S. Government for questionable activity, it simply announced that it was relocating its corporate offices to Indonesia, to be near the world’s newest and highest skyscrapers.
If the United States goes down the drain as Mexico has, also due to internal corruption, all will agree the lesson of the demise of the Roman Empire was not learned or personal greed once again trumped the national welfare. Is this a refutable comment? Try $14 trillion dollars in debt and millions of jobs still being lost to Asia in a continuous, non-stopping flow of American employment out of the Country, as more Philippine telephone operators answer our calls. Is this all a bad dream and Americans will wake up as they go out and spend the usual “bundle” on Christmas presents for their children? If there is no bundle to spend, Americans will be staring stark reality in the face. College graduates are finding no jobs in America by the thousands. In the news, charitable organizations in America are distressfully running out of food supplies for the poor. WE ARE IN TROUBLE. Our Nation’s boat is taking on water and no one wants to admit our feet are getting wet. When does acknowledgement come for Americans? When actual starvation sets in? Bad times do produce starvation. Ireland, in its infamous “potato famine” lost 50% of its population to starvation. Metaphorically if eleven leopards have been released into the American House, someone better admit the leopards are in the house before there is nothing left on the floor but the bones of their children. Before the United States is reduced to bones.
The blame for America’s present economic crisis is its CORPORATOCRACY which means the real blame is America’s present and recently past United States Congresspersons and no one else - for allowing multinationals to take over the government. In this sense, the U. S. Congress is solely to blame. Our Congresspersons THREW AWAY $14 trillion dollars on three unnecessary and corporate invented hoax wars and didn’t stop the outsourcing of over 20 million American jobs. This is criminal if not unbelievable recklessness or simply the continuing sell-out process. The rise of an uncompromising strong leader, brave enough to face off against the multinational corporatocracy assasin’s bullets, is the medicine the Empire of America needs to excise this corporatocracy malignancy. Can America rally and get back on its feet economically? Certainly with the right able and patriotic leader. When America first started and was miserably in debt, Alexander Hamilton turned it all around and had the United States a rich nation in a period of less than eight years.
Protectionism and tariffs will abruptly halt the drainage of the U. S. gold reserve out of Fort Knox to Asia. Tariffs will also abruptly halt the drainage of U. S. jobs to Asia and put Americans back to work as it returns to being a manufacturing nation. History shows that only manufacturing nations economically survive optimally. With American jobs retained and returned to the USA, American employees payroll money will once again circulate in the United States and not Asia boosting American businesses. E. g. one dollar that circulates 1,000 in the United States will buy 1,000 McDonald’s hamburgers keeping McDonalds alive. Circulating payroll money is critical to keep a country’s economy afloat. Right now those American dollars are circulating in Asia being paid to Asian employees. Maybe McDonalds should move to Asia.
Finally, laws should be passed to prohibit corporations from donating one penny to help political candidates to public office and to prohibit political candidates from accepting one penny of corporate donations, or both face felony indictments. Multinational corporations are America’s nightmare. The Benedict Arnold within our system of government. They have no loyalties except to go where expenses are the lowest. The way to end America’s economic problems is to end corporatocracy’s ownership of the United States Government, shut them down as an influence on American leadership and the legislative process, wrench America’s democracy from the hands of the “multies”, and return the Nation to “a government of the people”. The alternative to the rise of a strong patriotic leader who can salvage the United States economically is our Nation continuing to proceed down the same path or corruption which resulted in the internal collapse of the Roman Empire and destroyed Mexico.
History shows civilizations do not last forever. Unless all future American job applicants want to find themselves as the Mexican-type migrant job applicants in a long line of applicants in China just to send money back home to feed their children, Americans must get the “multies” out of government along with the sell-out U. S. Congresspersons and officials accountable for the multies’ survival in our government. We then can start repairing all the economic leaks in America’s sinking ship of state. Is President Barak Obama the man for all seasons here? He could be. He certainly has the ability and intestinal fortitude, unless he intends to continue to remain vanilla, “going along to get along”, and go to ribbon cutting ceremonies. Americans needs a new FDR or a Teddy Roosevelt with attitude, strong enough to kick corporate corruption in the face and boot multinational corporations out of the governmental and legislative process, and head straight into protectionism, form trade blocks with economically sinking Europe as well, and Central and South America, and with tariffs shut down cheap foreign goods made with cheap foreign labor and replace them with “Made In America” merchandise returning America to a manufacturing nation with tens of millions of unemployed Americans returned to the work force. If Alexander Hamilton did it, it can be done again with the right leader not with his or her hands in the multinational corporate pockets.
The Republican Party, “the party of big business”, is primarily responsible for the unbridled raid of the “multies” upon the American government and their “loose cannon” destruction of America. $14 trillion dollars in debt. The loss of 30 million jobs to Asia by unstopped multinational corporate “outsourcing”. Money talks? To whom? Some thing for all Americans to remember in the upcoming elections.
Food for thought.

Thats what you get for trusting the Great White Father in Washington. They'll surround you and shoot you down while you gather your women and children around the American flag. Any hippies left out there? Tell 'em it's almost torn down...what do we build next?
